The Panda and the Serpent (The Magic Panda) This is a beautiful and important film for many reasons, it was considered to be the first full length animated feature to come out of post war Japan. The idea for the story was taken from the old Chinese Folk Tale "Pai-She Chuam" (White Snake Woman) and it is very colorful, has a great English language soundtrack and runs approx. 73 minutes. This is the same story and idea that Disney used to make into "Mulan".
