Cartoon Galaxy Soars

Chappell Entertainment takes great pleasure in the announcement of a North American distribution deal for the Mighty Mojo Studios project, Cartoon Galaxy. The deal with Indican Pictures covers all distribution outlets for the continental United States and Canada, and includes DVD and domestic Television rights

Cartoon Galaxy is atruly exciting new adventure in animated entertainment and combines the traditional animation of Max Fleisher with a cast of brand new digitally animated characters created by Mighty Mojo Studios. These new characters, an alien family traveling through space, host their very own cartoon show featuring some of the finest examples of classic Fleischer cartoons, including “Superman” and “Popeye.”

Each Fleisher cartoon has been digitally restored and remastered in High Definition and Cartoon Galaxy will be released as both a 13 episode television series and a 7 disk DVD series.

The Chefsters is Cooking

Chappell Entertainment announced today that it will be producing a 13 episode series for television, The Chefsters. The series will focus on proper eating habits for children. The series will use sitcom format and stress nutrition, health, safety in the kitchen and food selection and preparation. Organic and healthy food products will be identified and stressed.

Kids will be shown the differences in bad and healthy eating habits. Most of the characters will be preteen in age and the series will target that age group.

The series will be shot in Ocala, Florida at Pardee Productions in late August of 2008.
